Viktoria Wilson
Coach
Background
I grew up as an endurance athlete in Bulgaria and Connecticut, where I competed in running and orienteering. This inspired me to study exercise science at Boston University with the intent of pursuing a career in research. However, I realized my true calling to coaching after working as a personal trainer in the fitness and recreation center.
Training Philosophy/Style
After finishing my bachelor’s degree, I worked as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at the University of South Florida. Working with college athletes was inspiring and influenced my training philosophy of focusing on personal performance and movement patterns. I enjoy helping my clients get stronger, increase endurance, and improve mobility. My personal experience with rheumatoid arthritis has given me insight into how to modify exercises to maintain fitness and decrease flare ups. By teaching correct form and personalizing it to each person’s anatomy, I’m able to continue my clients’ progress.
